When I tell to my friends in france that one of my best friends and a friend of him who are american are crossing a part of america by walking, they say something like “sh**” .They don’t want to believe me, but everytime i speak about brandon and Ricky i tell this: “You really don’t know them, you should know them to imagine what are they able to do….” And it’s true when brandon told me that he wanted to hick for so long, I wasn’t surprised at all… I hope you’ll finish in august when i’ll be in Atlanta and Auburn! Great shot of Roundhouse looking over the river. That’s one of those pictures that you always remember. What river was it?
Roundhouse, saw your “catch” from the shelter. Surprised you didn’t skin them and use the pelts for something.

Surely that clean cut looking young man sitting in front of the hiking poles is not Rat Sandwich! Rat needs to try out for that nasty reality show where you climb things and eat things. Mom says if you want to meet more cousins you have a lot in D.C. Your Abingdon stay sounds like it was wonderful. How nice to get warm, clean, fed and meet family. Thank them for allowing you such liberal use of their phone. It was good to talk to you. Stay away from the bridges! Love, MomDean
